Dressing the Part | Charlotte Senior Portraits

I had the privilege to do some fall senior portraits for a Charlotte senior recently! I say privilege because I met him three years ago while doing his JROTC composite portrait. It was through this experience that I got to watch him grow. One of my favorite parts of this job is getting high school students a portrait they can be proud of because the things you are a part of should be a source of pride.

We met at Independence Park in Charlotte for his senior portraits. I love this location because of the different textures it offers me. There are so many great backgrounds and spots to photograph someone. I got there a little early to check out the scene.

And Bradley dressed the part! He showed up in a tux! It’s not every day a senior shows up in a bowtie that he tied himself, so I had to get some really awesome shots.

What makes this senior special is that not only is he in JROTC, a program that loved as a high school senior, but he’s top dog! He has dreams of going into the Air Force, which he is looking forward to making a reality.

He also dances! But that’s not even the cool part! He dances with Hidden Dragon Lion Dance team, a local team rich in culture and community.

When this Charlotte senior graduates this Spring, there is no doubt in my mind that he will do amazing things with his abilities. Leadership and drive are a great thing to come out of high school with.
