We really lucked out on the day we did these high school senior portraits. The light was AMAZING! I took this high school senior around his neighborhood in Mint Hill, NC and found some really cool spots. Being in a familiar place made the images a bit more personal for him and his parents. First, we spent a little bit of time playing with the light and soaking up its warmth before we found some shady spots. It worked perfectly. High school boys tend to play the “too cool for this” card during senior portraits. So the sun-kissed look was perfect for those reflective, serious looks he was giving.
Once we got him smiling, we got some of his mom’s favorite images. My favorite are these bottom four. They show so much personality. What a great sequence of images for the wall!
