Spring Family Portraits and tips to a great family portrait.
Want some inspiration for your spring family portraits? Here is an idea. Use some of those awesome blues that show up in the spring Pantone colors of 2017. The beauty of blue is that it can become a neutral for other colors. Fun blood oranges or Pantone’s flame scarlet and a good beige. Suddenly you have yourself a great color family for portraits!
I know that coming up with a great combination is not always the easiest thing to do. Here’s how I did this one. I pulled out a pattern that I really liked. Florals are big right now for spring. Plus, I am kind of in love with a nice pencil skirt like Lularoe’s Cassie. This example isn’t one, but hopefully, I can show you one in the future. 😉
Next, I pulled the colors from this pattern as well as similar colors. I decided that the blues didn’t really have to match but I’m not so sure I would pair the orange dress with the red button down shirt… (As it turns out, I don’t have girls, so problem solved…. haha!) The fun part was mixing the patterns a little. the gingham shirt works really well with the polka dots in the light denim dress. See how much fun you can have!?
